Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures such as radiography, CT scans, mammography, bone density tests, ultrasound, and other examinations following departmental protocols.
  • Ensure that X-ray equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards, performing equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Interact with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and safety during X-ray examinations.
  • Maintain accurate records of X-ray procedures, including patient information, images, and relevant medical history.
  • Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.
  • Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Hours: 8 or 10 hour shifts Mids

Location: Southern Regional Medical Center – Riverdale, GA

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist I, internally referred to as our Radiology Tech I. The Rad Tech I will be conducting diagnostic X‑ray procedures, operating X‑ray equipment to capture images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes. This role is essential in assisting healthcare providers by producing high‑quality images that aid in diagnosing medical conditions and formulating treatment plans for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures such as radiography, CT scans, mammography, bone density tests, ultrasound, and other examinations following departmental protocols.
  • Ensure that X‑ray equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards, performing equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed.
