Job summary

Gateway Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a motivated X-Ray Technologist for our Richardson, TX outpatient imaging center. The role entails performing diagnostic radiographs with a focus on patient safety, comfort, and image quality within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT registration (or eligibility), state licensure as required, and a patient-centric approach.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (R) registered (or registry-eligible).
• State licensure as required.
• Current BLS certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process.
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain equipment functionality and report any issues promptly.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas.

Position Summary
