Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to position patients, operate x-ray equipment, and ensure safe, high-quality imaging. You will explain procedures to patients and cooperate with the care team to optimize workflow and patient experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, adhering to OSHA standards, and supporting the department during evenings and holidays. This role requires ARRT registration or eligibility and CPT/CPR credentials in a collaborative

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or related experience.
• Must be ARRT registered or eligible; IDNS license.
• CPR certification.
• 6 months to 2 years related experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Position patient on examining table and adjust immobilization to obtain optimum view.
• Explain procedures to reduce patient anxiety and obtain cooperation.
• Move x-ray equipment and set exposure factors (time and distance).
• Practice radiation protection to minimize exposure.
• Obtain patient history and maintain equipment.
• Maintain OSHA regulations and department workflow.

Responsibilities

• Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum view of specific areas of body requested by physician.
• Explains procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
• Moves x-ray equipment into specified positions and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.
• Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.
• Obtain patient’s pertinent history.
• Maintains crash cart.
• Maintain and stock inventory.
• Maintain OSHA regulations.
• Performs other projects and duties as related to department objective.
• Must be able to get along with others, to be a team player, to accept constructive criticism from your supervisor and be able to follow work rules.
• Report to lead technologist for work assignments.
• Will assist with film quality control.
• Required to work evening and holidays with responsibility for the operation of the department.
• Assists and relieve manager expediting the patient work flow through the department.

Qualifications

• Education
• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six month to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be AART registered or eligible also IDNS licensed.
• CPR certification Years of Experience
• 6 months
• 2 years related experience

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $29.00 - $43.00, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
