Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Westmont, IL seeks a skilled X-ray Technologist to operate radiologic equipment and produce diagnostic x-rays. You will position patients, adjust exposure factors, and explain procedures to reduce anxiety while ensuring safety and quality.

Must have AART registration or eligibility and CPR certification; 6 months to 2 years of related experience preferred. This full-time role supports a collaborative, physician-led radiology team with a patient-first focus.

Rotating weekend coverage every 5th weekend Saturday and Sunday 8:00am-4:00pm. Together, we create an environment where you can grow, contribute, and help improve the experience and outcomes for every patient we serve.Benefits:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits that include healthcare navigation assistance.Access to a mental health benefit at no cost.Employer provided life and disability insurance.$5,250 Tuition Reimbursement per year.Immediate 401(k) match.40 hours paid volunteer time off.A culture committed to community engagement and social impact.Up to 12 weeks parental leave at 100% pay and a financial benefit for adoption and surrogacy for non-physician team members once eligibility requirements are met.Key Responsibilities:Operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographs (x-rays) of body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by Radiologist, by performing the following duties.Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum view of specific areas of body requested by physician.Explains procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.Moves x-ray equipment into specified positions and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.Obtain patient’s pertinent history.Maintains crash cart.Maintain and stock inventory.Maintain OSHA regulations.Performs other projects and duties as related to department objective.Must be able to get along with others, to be a team player, to accept constructive criticism from your supervisor and be able to follow work rules.Report to lead technologist for work assignments.Will assist with film quality control.Required to work evening and holidays with responsibility for the operation of the department.Assists and relieve manager expediting the patient workflow through the department.Qualifications & Experience:Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceMust be AART registered or eligible also IDNS licensed.CPR certification Years of Experience6 months - 2 years’ related experience highly preferred but not required.The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $29.00 - $43.00, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
