Our state-of-the-art centers focus on the episodic treatment of acute illnesses and injuries, workers' compensation, and occupational medicine. This position works directly with a franchised business location.

Job Summary
This role requires a combination of technical skills, patient care, and administrative duties to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnostic Imaging & Equipment Operation

  • Perform all diagnostic x-rays as ordered by the treating provider using digital and non-digital imaging equipment in accordance with approved radiology techniques and clinic protocols.
  • Position patients appropriately for diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Explain procedures to patients in a compassionate and professional manner.
  • Practice ALARA radiation protection techniques.
  • Process images, review for proper identification and quality control, and prepare images for physician and radiologist overreads.
  • Maintain and clean x-ray equipment and x-ray rooms between patients to ensure operational readiness.
  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, make minor repairs, and arrange for service as needed.
Clinical & Treatment Support

  • Aid providers with prescribed patient treatments in accordance with approved standards, policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient care as needed.
  • Assist in triaging newly registered patients.
  • Direct patients to examination rooms and set up rooms based on patient complaints.
Administrative & Cross-Functional Duties
  • Greet and register patients; verify insurance, collect co-pays, and copy insurance cards.
  • Complete required forms and maintain records, logs, and reports of imaging and clinical activity.
  • Maintain cleanliness of patient waiting areas, exam rooms, and front office.
  • Serve as Medical Receptionist and/or Medical Assistant as needed.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications

  • Meet Massachusetts state licensure requirements for Radiologic Technologists, including ARRT or NMTCB certification and compliance with up-to-date CEUs
  • Basic understanding of digital X-ray services
  • Familiarity with universal precautions, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations
  • Team-oriented and adaptable; able to work independently as needed
