Job summary

Touchstone Medical Imaging, a partner of Lumexa Imaging, is hiring an X-Ray Technologist for our Austin outpatient center. You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensure patient safety, comfort, and high-quality images while delivering exceptional patient experience.

The role requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT(R) registration or eligibility, state licensure as required, and strong communication and patient care skills. Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT- Registered or registry-eligible.
• State licensure as required by the applicable jurisdiction.
• Current BLS certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process.
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain equipment functionality and report any issues promptly.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas.
