Job summary

Touchstone Medical Imaging in Austin, TX is seeking a motivated CT Technologist for a full-time outpatient imaging center position. The role focuses on high-quality CT procedures, patient comfort, and accurate imaging in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited RT program with ARRT CT registry, CPR, and state licensure as applicable, and will work Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program.
• ARRT certification with CT registry.
• Current state license (if applicable) and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality.
• Administer contrast media per orders and policies.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures for safety and comfort.
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain CT equipment and report issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and radiation standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms.

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Position Summary

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

• Perform CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality
• Administer contrast media in accordance with physician orders and company policies
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
• Maintain CT equipment and report any issues promptly
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and radiation safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Registry in Computed Tomography (CT)
• Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
• Current CPR certification
