Job summary

OrthoAtlanta, LLC is seeking an X-Ray Technician to join our orthopedic imaging team at Piedmont West. You will operate X-ray equipment, position patients for musculoskeletal imaging, and ensure safety protocols are followed in a busy on-site clinic.

The ideal candidate has completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certification or eligibility, and strong communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography or eligible to obtain.
• 1+ year of experience as an X-Ray Technician (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
• Compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures clearly and ensure patients are positioned correctly for imaging.
• Operate X-ray equipment safely to produce diagnostic digital images.
• Apply immobilization techniques and follow safety protocols.
• Perform routine checks on X-ray equipment and adherence to quality controls.
• Monitor and restock X-ray supplies to support clinic operations.
• Record procedures and imaging results accurately in the EMR.

What You’ll Do

• Apply proper immobilization techniques and follow established safety protocols at all times
• Perform routine checks on X-ray equipment and adhere to quality control standards
• Monitor and restock X-ray supplies as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations
• Record procedures and imaging results accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record system

What You’ll Need
