Concentra is seeking an X Ray Technician Limited Scope with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a center located in Richmond, VA. You will perform routine radiologic procedures under direct supervision, support in medical testing, and help maintain a safe and efficient center environment.

The role requires completing a Limited Scope Technician certificate and CPR/First Aid, plus at least six months of relevant experience in x-ray and medical assisting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Completion of state approved Limited Scope Technician certificate program and license by the state in which employed, if applicable.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and escort to dressing and x-ray rooms; assist positioning.
• Operate radiologic equipment and set exposure times per exam requirements; ensure patient safety.
• Apply radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff.
• Maintain and calibrate x-ray equipment; perform QA/QC procedures.
• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing and assist clinicians.
