Job summary

Concentra, Inc. is seeking an X Ray Technician with limited scope responsibilities in Norcross, GA. The role involves performing routine x-ray exams under supervision and supporting in patient care within a fast-paced medical center.

Qualifying candidates will have a Limited Scope Technician certificate and state license where required, with CPR/First Aid certification and prior medical assistant experience desired. Join a team dedicated to high-quality patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Completion of state approved Limited Scope Technician certificate program and license by the state in which employed, if applicable.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Customarily at least six months of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and assist in positioning.
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Ensure safety with radiation protection measures for patients and team.
• Maintain and troubleshoot radiology equipment and QA/QC procedures.
• Perform DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing and assist clinicians during examinations.
• Handle front office tasks: greet patients, check in/out, and manage referrals.
