Job summary

Concentra, Inc. is hiring an X Ray Technician with limited scope to support radiology and medical testing in a busy clinic. You will prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, ensure safety, and maintain records while providing excellent patient care.

The role includes DOT/non-DOT testing, clinical assistance, and front-office duties, with a focus on accurate documentation and efficient patient flow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Completion of state approved Limited Scope Technician certificate program and license by the state in which employed, if applicable.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Six months or more of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and escort to dressing and x-ray rooms.
• Operate radiologic equipment and adjust controls to set exposure and position for exams.
• Apply radiation safety measures and protect patients and staff.
• Maintain and calibrate x-ray equipment and document QA/QC procedures.
• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing and assist clinicians during exams.
• Handle front office duties and ensure accurate documentation and records.
