Responsibilities

X-ray Technician Duties

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, assist with positioning, and ensure safety and comfort during x-ray exams.
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images, following established safety and procedural standards.
• Maintain equipment, perform QA/QC procedures, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Medical Support Specialist Duties

• Perform drug and alcohol testing, assist with physical examinations, and perform routine medical procedures.
• Support provider examinations, apply dressings, dispense medications, and maintain medical equipment and supplies.
• Handle clerical tasks, document accurately, and ensure patient flow and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• State-approved Limited Scope Technician certification and license, if applicable.
• CPR/First Aid certification.

Experience and Skills

• Minimum six months of medical assistant experience and familiarity with medical procedures and terminology.
• Experience in X-ray procedures and knowledge of occupational medicine requirements preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and confidentiality skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and medical documentation systems.
