Job summary

Carbon Health Technologies Inc. is hiring a Full Time XRT to deliver diagnostic imaging services and assist clinical staff. You will prepare patients, position them for X-ray exams, operate imaging equipment, and maintain safety and patient comfort in a fast-paced environment.

You will document in EMR, support patient flow, and participate in continuing education to stay current with best practices in radiologic technology and patient care.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English to communicate with patients and staff.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent education.
• Current state licensure or certification as an X-ray Technologist (XRT) or Radiologic Technologist.
• Basic Medical Assistant skills and clinical setting experience.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe.
• Knowledge of EMR systems and imaging workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and patient-service oriented skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic X-ray examinations per physician orders and protocols.
• Prepare patients, verify identity, explain procedures and ensure comfort and safety.
• Position patients and operate X-ray equipment for high-quality images.
• Apply radiation safety principles and follow guidelines to protect patients and staff.
• Assist with basic clinical tasks and vital signs as needed.
• Document procedures and imaging details in EMR or applicable systems.
• Maintain imaging rooms, equipment, and supplies in clean, ready condition.
• Coordinate with front office and providers to optimize patient flow and wait times.
• Follow infection control and privacy standards per regulations.
• Participate in department meetings and ongoing education to stay current.
