Job summary

Carbon Health Technologies Inc. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (XRT) to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and support clinicians in diagnosing disease and injuries.

You will help patients through the imaging process and collaborate with the team to keep the clinic running smoothly, with weekday, weekend and some holiday shifts. You will prepare patients, protect against radiation, produce images for Radiologists, and participate in staff meetings.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• 3+ years in healthcare leadership experience
• Current CRT certificate
• Current CPR-BLS
• ARRT registration or equivalent radiologic technology credentialing

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging; explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff
• Prepare images for reading by Radiologist
• Assist with Medical Assistant duties to ensure optimal patient flow
• Attend staff and departmental meetings
• Complete training and become certified with the Department of Transportation to perform Urine Drug Screens and Breath Alcohol Tests
• Proposes improvements to processes and workflows
• Works autonomously within established procedures and practices
