Carbon Health in Palm Desert, CA is seeking a dedicated X-Ray Technician (Full Time) to perform routine diagnostic X-ray exams and support clinical teams. You will prepare patients, position them, operate imaging equipment, document findings, and maintain a safe imaging environment.

The role requires state licensure as XRT or Radiologic Technologist, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, BLS, and familiarity with EMR systems. Strong patient communication is essential.

Qualificações

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent education per state rules.
• Current state licensure/certification as XRT, Radiologic Technologist, or equivalent.
• Basic Medical Assistant skills and ambulatory care experience.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe.
• Familiarity with EMR and basic computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine diagnostic X-ray exams per orders and protocols.
• Prepare patients, verify identity, explain procedures, ensure comfort and safety.
• Position patients and operate X-ray equipment for quality images.
• Follow radiation safety principles and guidelines to protect all.
• Assist providers with basic clinical tasks and patient rooming as needed.
• Document procedures and imaging details in EMR or system.
• Maintain imaging rooms, equipment, and supplies in ready condition.
• Support patient flow and minimize wait times with staff coordination.
• Adhere to infection control and privacy standards per regulations.
• Participate in meetings and continuing education to stay current.
