Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiological technology preferred.
• High school diploma required (or equivalent).
• BLS CPR certification required.
• BMO certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures and protects patient, staff, and self from radiation hazards.
• Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Selects proper ionizing factors for radiological diagnosis and adjusts radiographic controls.
• Positions patients and takes x-rays of specific body parts as requested by physician.
• Maintains records, reports and required daily logs.
