Job summary

AdventHealth Orlando is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to prepare patients for radiologic procedures, operate X-ray equipment, and ensure safety and image quality while maintaining documentation and infection control standards.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree in radiologic technology (preferred), CPR/BLS certification, and 1+ year imaging experience. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading/writing English and able to communicate effectively to carry out job requirements.
• Willing to float to other FHMG practices when patient load or schedules require it.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures and protects patients and staff from radiation hazards.
• Operates radiographic equipment and follows procedures for patient care and safety.
• Adjusts radiographic controls and positions patients for imaging as requested by physician.
• Processes and checks films for image clarity and maintains records and reports.
