Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to prepare patients for procedures, operate x-ray equipment, and ensure safety and accuracy in imaging. The role requires maintaining patient records and collaborating with physicians.

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate degree in radiologic technology, be certified in BLS and BMO, and be willing to work day shifts at a Florida facility.

Qualifications

• Requires current state license/certification in radiologic technology.
• Associate degree in radiologic technology or equivalent required.
• BLS and BMO certifications required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures and protects patient, staff and self from radiation hazards.
• Operates radiographic equipment to take x-rays as requested by physician.
• Maintains required records and ensures timely availability of reports/films.
• Performs quality control checks and ensures compliance with safety standards.
