Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks a Radiology Technologist to prepare patients for radiologic procedures and protect staff against radiation hazards. You will operate radiographic equipment and follow safety protocols to support accurate diagnoses.

The role requires an Associate degree in radiologic technology, a High School diploma, and BLS/BMO certifications. You may float to other FHMG practices as needed; strong English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Assists with radiologic procedures while ensuring patient and staff safety.
• Demonstrates strong English reading/writing and verbal communication.
• Willing to float to other FHMG practices when patient load or scheduling requires.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures and protects patient, self and other staff from radiation hazards.
• Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety; operates radiographic equipment.
• Positions patients and takes x-rays of specific parts of the body as requested by physician.
