Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician, C-Arm Tech (PRN) to perform fluoroscopic procedures for patients of all ages in a clinical setting. Responsibilities include assisting in patient care management and working closely under the supervision of the ASC Director.

The ideal candidate must possess a high school diploma and be currently licensed in X-Ray Technology in Illinois, with strong communication and multitasking skills.

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $26.50 to $40.50 per hour based on skill and experience.

Qualifications

  • Must have a current certification or license in X-Ray Technology from Illinois.
  • Experience in a busy healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Ability to lift disabled patients and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform fluoroscopic procedures for patients of all age groups.

Job Title

X-Ray Technician, C-Arm Tech (PRN)

Salary Range: $26.50 - $40.50 per hour, based on skill and experience level.

Location: Duly Health Westmont, 815 Pasquinelli Dr, Westmont, IL 60559, USA

Essential Functions

Performs fluoroscopic procedures for the treatment of patients of all age groups, utilizing the guidelines of the professional radiology practice standards. Helps patients feel comfortable during the entire process. Performs selected nursing, lab, administrative, and clerical duties that assist in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management under the direction of a Physician, PA, or NP.

Supervision received: ASC Director.

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Current X-Ray Technology certificate or license from a program approved in Illinois.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • A current certification or license in X-Ray Technology from the state of Illinois.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required

Knowledge of modern radiologic equipment and techniques; regional and gross anatomy of the human body; standardized radiologic clinical procedures; thorough knowledge of the hazards of radiologic materials and the safety precautions required; the operation and care of modern radiologic equipment; and the ordering and storing of supplies. Ability to communicate effectively, administer emergency aid for shock; prepare solutions used in processing x-ray film, process film, keep simple records, file film correctly, and compile reports; follow directions; analyze situations accurately and take effective action; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.

Computer Skills
  • Knowledge of email systems such as Microsoft Outlook sufficient to communicate with both internal and external contacts.
  • Knowledge of Word and Excel sufficient to create simple documents such as memos and reports, enter data, copy or cut and paste data and print results.
  • Knowledge of WebMD and HST system sufficient to perform review and data entry preferred.

  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
Physical/Mental Demands
  • Ability to be on your feet for long periods and lift or turn disabled patients.
  • Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment.
  • Ability to concentrate for periods of up to four hours.
  • Ability to communicate verbally both in person and on the telephone.
  • Ability to use computer keyboard and view a computer monitor.
Environmental/Working Conditions

Normal busy office environment with much telephone work. For the majority of our positions this would be a climate controlled office environment during normal business hours. Occasional evening and/or weekend work.
