Job summary

CareNow urgent care in Texas is seeking an X-Ray Technician to perform radiology procedures and assist with in-house lab work. You will ensure accurate records, QC checks, and smooth clinic operations in a patient‑focused environment.

Qualified candidates will have LMRT Texas license and radiology training; BLS within 30 days is required. The role may require shifts and coverage across locations within CareNow clinics.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences.
• LMRT - Limited Medical Radiology Technician license in Texas.
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial.
• Ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and quality radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.

• Perform drug screens, urinalysis and other in-house lab tests including processing specimens for reference laboratories.
• Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs.
• Work closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
• Ensure occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.
• Cross train for front desk duties: greeting patients, check-in/out, End of Day close out, patient interactions, lobby checks and records release.
• May work alternate shifts and float to other clinic locations; coordinate with staff to ensure high quality care.
• Assist with general patient care when needed.
