Job summary

CARENOW - CULEBRA MSO, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an X-Ray Technician to perform radiology procedures and support in-house labs. The role requires LMRT licensure in Texas, 1+ year of patient-care experience, and BLS readiness within 30 days of starting.

You will collaborate with clinic staff to ensure high-quality patient care, handle front desk duties when needed, and may float to other locations or work alternate shifts as required.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences.
• LMRT license in Texas (Limited Medical Radiology Technician).
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting.
• Ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and quality radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
• Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment.
• Conduct in-house lab tests including drug screens and processing specimens for reference laboratories.
• Maintain records/logs of in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent to labs.
• Collaborate with Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator and clinic staff for smooth operations and high satisfaction.
• Follow occupational client preference cards and procedures.
• Cross-train for front desk duties (greeting patients, check-in/out, end-of-day close, patient interactions, lobby checks, records release).
• May work alternate shifts or float to other clinic locations.
• Assist with general patient care when needed.

Job Summary And Qualifications

In this role, you will:

• As an X-Ray Technician you will perform timely and quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.


• Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment.


• Perform drug screens, urinalysis and other in-house lab tests including processing specimens for reference laboratories.


• Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs.


• Works closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.


• Ensure occupational client's preference card is followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.


• Is cross trained for front desk duties to include greeting patients, checking patients in/out on computer, End of Day close out procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks and records release.


• You may be required to work alternate shifts and may be required to float to other clinic locations. Works with all clinic staff to ensure efforts are coordinated and that patients receive high quality care and services.


• Assist with general patient care when needed.

You should have:
