Job Summary
This position is incentive eligible and offers an X‑Ray Technician PRN opportunity with CareNow, part of HCA Healthcare. We are looking for a Limited Practice Radiographer who can deliver high‑quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform timely and quality radiology procedures for patient evaluation and treatment.
- Conduct quality control checks and audits on radiologic equipment.
- Perform drug screens, urinalysis, and other in‑house lab tests and process specimens for reference laboratories.
- Maintain records and logs on activities including in‑house lab work, drug screens, and x‑rays sent to other labs.
- Collaborate closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator, and clinic staff to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
- Follow occupational client preference cards and procedures.
- Be cross‑trained for front‑desk duties such as greeting patients, checking patients in/out, end‑of‑day close‑out procedures, lobby checks, and record release.
- Adapt to alternate shifts and float to other clinic locations as needed; coordinate efforts with clinic staff to provide high‑quality care.
- Assist with general patient care when required.
Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences.
- Limited Practice Radiographer license in South Carolina.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a patient‑care setting is beneficial.
- Obtain BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
- Obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment.
- Office Laboratory Assistant License if required by the state.
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.
