Job summary

CareNow - Broadway MSO, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Limited Medical Radiology Technologist (LMRT) to join our PRN team and support patient care. You will perform X-ray related duties and essential clinical tasks in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Responsibilities include vital signs, patient history, EKGs, room preparation, and front desk support. Compliance with certifications and state requirements is required to ensure high-quality service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma as required by the state.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (BOTP) preferred.
• LMRT license in state of residency.
• 1+ year of clinical experience is beneficial.
• Ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days.
• Must obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical duties supporting providers and nursing staff, including vital signs, patient history, labs and EKGs.
• Assist with front desk duties: greeting patients, check-in/out, and end-of-day close.
• Maintain records and logs for in-house and sent-out lab work and drug screens.
• Perform equipment and supply audits; ensure clean exam rooms.
• Collaborate with Center Manager, Medical Staff, and clinic staff for smooth operations.
• Support patient care with attention to accuracy and guest satisfaction.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As an X-ray Tech, you will:

• Performs various clinical duties in support of providers and Nursing staff including but limited to taking vital signs, patient history, lab specimens and EKGs. May apply splints, dressings and bandages as directed. Prepares, maintains and cleans exam rooms.
• Will check patients in and out of the computer and may assist the Patient Representative in the performance of front desk duties.
• Will assist with front desk duties to include greeting patients, checking patients in/out of computer, End of Day close out procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks and records release.
• Maintains records and logs on activities including inhouse lab work, drug screens and lab work sent out to other labs.
• Performs equipment and supply audits as scheduled.
• Works closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.

You Should Have:

• High School graduate as required by the state.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) is preferred.
• Limited Medical Radiology Technologist (LMRT) license in state of residency
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial
• Ability to obtain a BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start
• Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion
