Job summary

North Florida Surgeons, P.A. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray procedures across multiple locations in New York. You will prepare patients, position them for optimal imaging, educate them about the procedure, and ensure accurate coding and PACS entry.

The role is PRN with competitive hourly pay and routine hours. The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree in radiology, ARRT license, and 1–2 years in orthopedic imaging, plus strong EMR/PACS skills.

Qualifications

• Understand CPT and ICD 10 Codes.
• Completing patient intakes and calls.
• Proficient knowledge of EMR systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Friendly, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Explain X-ray procedures to patients and prepare them.
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment for quality radiographs.
• Assist physicians and staff with procedures.
• Verify correct body part and views for each exam.
• Ensure images are stored in PACS and properly coded for billing.
