Job summary

Concentra is hiring an X-ray Limited Scope & Medical Support Specialist to perform routine radiologic and medical testing procedures under direct supervision. You will support in front and back office tasks, ensure patient safety and deliver quality care in a fast-paced environment.

The role includes operating X-ray equipment, performing DOT and Non-DOT tests, assisting clinicians, and maintaining equipment and records in compliance with policy and HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Completion of state approved Limited Scope Technician certificate program and license by the state in which employed, if applicable.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and assist positioning to ensure patient care and safety.
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images and ensure safety standards.
• Use radiation safety measures and protection devices.
• Maintain and calibrate x-ray equipment and document QA/QC procedures.
• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments and support in front/back office tasks.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
