Job summary

Concentra is seeking a X-ray Limited Scope & Medical Support Specialist to perform routine x-ray exams and assist in DOT and non-DOT medical testing. You will also support front/back office tasks and patient flow in a fast-paced center.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating radiologic equipment, following safety and HIPAA guidelines, and providing quality patient care and service. Prior training and compliance with center policies are required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Completion of state approved Limited Scope Technician certificate program and license by the state in which employed, if applicable.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and assist with positioning.
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Apply radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff.
• Ensure radiology equipment remains functional and report malfunctions.
• Document radiology workflows and complete required documentation.
