Job summary

Fast Pace Health in Martin, TN is seeking an X-Ray Tech to provide clinical and administrative support under the supervision of a Provider or Clinic Director. You will help deliver high-quality patient care and operate imaging equipment in a fast-paced environment.

You will ensure accurate image labeling, comply with HIPAA, and assist with maintenance, patient positioning, vitals triage, and coordination with the Radiology group.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill the responsibilities of Nurse/Clinical Tech and Patient Care Specialist per the job description.
• Deliver clinical and administrative support for the team; monitor and track x-ray orders for timely submission.
• Assist patients with proper positioning to ensure diagnostic image quality.
• Ensure activities comply with policies, procedures, HIPAA, and health regulations.
• Review exam images for provider initial read; send final images for over-read.
• Label laterality of all images using lead markers.
• Address minor machine maintenance and coordinate with nurse coordinator before outsourcing.
• Monitor imaging equipment and maintain cleanliness to prevent cross-contamination.
• Maintain pregnancy waiver forms where applicable.
• Triage patients by checking vitals and recording clinical history; perform basic nursing tasks when not in radiographic exams.
• Monitor X-Ray badge monthly and wear Radiation Monitors as required in the room.
• Complete mandatory compliance training and welcome new employees with clinic tours and onboarding.
• Assist new staff with training through shadowing, demonstrations, and coaching.
• Maintain friendly relations and build credibility with all employees.
