Job summary

Fast Pace Health is seeking an X-Ray Technologist to provide clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will deliver compassionate patient care and accurate imaging under supervision by a Provider, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, image labeling, HIPAA compliance, image review, and coordinating with Radiology for over-reads. ARRT and state licenses, TB/IV, and CPR are required within the specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Valid ARRT license and active state license.
• TB and IV certification required within 60 days of employment.
• CPR certification required to be obtained within 60 days where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill responsibilities of Nurse/Clinical Tech and Patient Care Specialist per job description.
• Deliver clinical and administrative support for the team and adhere to policies.
• Monitor and track x-ray orders to ensure timely submission.
• Assist patient with proper positioning to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and health information management requirements.
• Review exam images for provider initial read and send to Radiology for over read.
• Label laterality on images and use correct technique for each exam.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; report issues to Imaging Director.
