Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Radiology Tech and Medical Assistant PRR in our Colorado clinic to provide patient-focused imaging and clinical support. You will take vital signs, perform X-ray imaging, document in the EHR, collect specimens, and assist with check-in/check-out while maintaining thorough records.

The role requires ARRT registration and MA program completion; BLS is needed within 30 days. Employment offers comprehensive benefits with an incentive-eligible wage and growth opportunities

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
• Perform x-ray/imaging services and update patient charts.
• Collect patient history and document in EHR.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and auditing charts.
• Maintain records and logs of in-house and outsourced lab work.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Seeking a Radiology Technologist (RT) and skilled Medical Assistant (MA) like you who provides expertise and to be a champion of patient care. As a Radiology Tech/Medical Assistant, you will:

1. Take vital signs, collecting lab specimens, performing EKG’s, and administering IM injections.
2. Perform all x-ray/imaging services according to provider’s orders and updates patient charts accordingly.
3. Collect patient history and documenting EHR appropriately.
4. You may apply splints, dressings and bandages.
5. Assist with check-in/check-out when needed including auditing charts.
6. Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent out to other labs.
7. Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.

You Should Have:

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required
• Registered Radiologic Technologist, ARRT Certification required
• General Medical Radiology Technician (GMRT) license in state of residency if required by the state
• BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) is required
• Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred.
• Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 30 days of start.
• Federal Drug Screening Certification within 30 days of start.
• Within 30 days of employment or promotion, must obtain and maintain state license (if required by the state) for Office Laboratory Assistant.
