CareNow, part of HCA Healthcare, is hiring a Limited Scope Operator/Medical Assistant with X-Ray to join our urgent care team in Parker, CO. The role supports patient care with vital signs, imaging, and chart updates in the EHR.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year clinical experience, MA program completion, RT/LSO license, BLS, and a commitment to high-quality care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting.
• Experience using an EHR system.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (BOTP).
• Radiological Technologist (RT) or Limited Scope Operator (LSO/LMRT) license in state residency.
• Current AAMA certification preferred.
• Current BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
• Must obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening and Federal Drug Screening within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collecting lab specimens, performing EKGs, and administering IM injections.
• Perform x-ray/imaging services and update patient charts accordingly.
• Collect patient history and document in EHR.
• Apply splints, dressings and bandages.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and chart auditing.
• Maintain records and logs on radiology, in-house lab, drug screens and external labs.
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Seeking an X-Ray Tech/Medical Assistant like you who provides expertise and to be a champion of patient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

As a Limited Scope Operator/MA, you will:

• Take vital signs, collecting lab specimens, performing EKG's, and administering IM injections.
• Perform all x-ray/imaging services according to provider's orders and updates patient charts accordingly.
• Collect patient history and documenting EHR appropriately.
• You may apply splints, dressings and bandages.
• Assist with check-in/check‑out when needed including auditing charts.
• Maintain records and logs on activities including radiology, in‑house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent out to other labs.
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.

You should have:

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is helpful.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) is required.
• Radiological Technologist (RT) or Limited Scope Operator (LSO / LMRT), license is required in state of residency.
• Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is preferred.
• Current BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start.
• Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
