Job Summary and Responsibilities
- Performs various clinical duties in support of providers and nursing staff, including taking vital signs, patient history, lab specimens and EKGs; applying splints, dressings and bandages as directed; preparing, maintaining and cleaning exam rooms.
- Checks patients in and out of the computer and may assist the Patient Representative in front‑desk duties.
- Assists with front‑desk duties, including greeting patients, checking them in/out of the computer, end‑of‑day close‑out procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks and records release.
- Maintains records and logs on activities including in‑house lab work, drug screens and lab work sent out to other labs.
- Performs equipment and supply audits as scheduled.
- Works closely with the Center Manager, medical staff, front desk coordinator and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school graduate as required by the state.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services (required).
- Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) license in state of residency.
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial.
- Ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start (required).
- Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
