CareNow - West Ashley - Sam Rittenberg is seeking an X-Ray Tech / Medical Assistant to support patient care in a fast-paced clinic. You will perform imaging services, collect specimens, and assist with check-in/check-out while documenting in the EHR.

The role requires at least 1 year of clinical experience and an RT/LMRT license in-state. BLS and required certifications must be obtained within set timelines. CareNow offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in patient care is helpful.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Limited Practice Radiographer (LMRT) license is required in state of residency.
• Current AAMA certification preferred.
• Current BLS certification required within 30 days of start.
• Must obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening and Federal Drug Screening certifications within 3 months.

Responsabilités

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs and IM injections.
• Perform x-ray/imaging services per provider orders and update charts.
• Collect patient history and document in EHR.
• Apply splints and dressings as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and chart audits.
• Maintain radiology and lab records and logs.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking aLimited Practice Radiographer/Medical Assistantlike you who providesexpertiseand to be a champion of patient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

As a Tech, you will:

• Take vital signs,collectinglab specimens,performingEKG’s, andadministeringIM injections.
• Perform all x-ray/imaging services according to provider’s orders andupdatespatient charts accordingly.
• Collect patient history anddocumentingEHR appropriately.
• You may apply splints,dressingsand bandages.
• Assistwith check-in/check-out whenneededincluding auditing charts.
• Maintain records and logs on activities includingradiology,in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent out to other labs.
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.

You should have:

• 1+yearof clinical experience in a patient care setting is helpful.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• High School Diploma or equivalent isrequired.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) isrequired.
• Radiological Technologist (RT) orLimited Practice Radiographer(LPR / LMRT),license isrequiredin state of residency.
• Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is preferred.
• Current BLS Certification isrequiredwithin30 daysof start.
• Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
