Position Summary

This position is incentive eligible. Hourly Wage Estimate: $26.69 - $38.72 / hour.

New hires may receive up to $3,500 sign‑on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
• Perform all x‑ray/imaging services according to provider orders and update patient charts accordingly.
• Collect patient history and document in the EHR appropriately.
• Apply splints, dressings, and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check‑in/check‑out, including auditing charts.
• Maintain records and logs of activities including radiology, in‑house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent to other labs.
• Keep patients and visitors informed about clinic progress.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is helpful.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) is required.
• Radiological Technologist (RT) or Limited Scope Operator (LSO/LMRT) license required in state of residency.
• Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is preferred.
• Current BLS Certification required within 30 days of start.
• Must obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
