American Family Care is seeking a Radiologic Imaging Technician to perform radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures, aiding physicians in diagnoses and patient care. You will assist with administrative tasks, patient registration, and medical assisting duties as needed, ensuring comfort and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, ARRT-registered or board eligible preferred.
• Licensed per state regulation; Medical Assistant Certification/registry, Practical Nursing License, EMT or Paramedic may be acceptable in some states.
• Compensation: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and explain procedures with compassion.
• Position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Practice ALARA radiation protection techniques.
• Process images and prepare for reading by physicians/radiologists.
• Utilize digital and non-digital imaging equipment per policies.
• Assist provider with prescribed patient treatments as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and arrange for repairs on equipment.
• Complete forms and maintain records and logs.
• Serve as Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
