Job summary

American Family Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and assist physicians in evaluating injuries and illnesses. You will support administrative tasks such as patient registration and medical assisting as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• ARRT-registered or board eligible preferred.
• Licensed per state regulation; related certifications may be acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and explain procedures with compassion.
• Position patients for diagnostic imaging.
• Practice ALARA radiation protection techniques.
• Process and prepare images for physician review and radiologist overreads.
• Operate digital and non-digital imaging equipment in compliance with policies.
