Job description

Job Title: In-field X-Ray Service Technician

Description: Traveling electrical/mechanical technician providing in-field services for security X-ray equipment.

Location: Orlando, FL (approximate)

Terms: Salaried In-Field Position

Requirements:

• 5+ years of repair technician experience
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently
• Proficiency in servicing and repairing large machines/appliances
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, manuals, and work instructions
• Reliable personal transportation
• Weekly travel within designated region
• Physical ability to work low to the ground and lift loads up to 50 lbs.

Preferences:

• Experience with X-ray equipment a plus
• Experience in electrical wiring, test instrumentation, and troubleshooting to component level
• Degree in electronic or mechanical technology, or similar experience
• PC literacy (Google & Microsoft applications)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and maintenance services for customers in the Mid to Southern US regions
• Provide prompt, professional communication with Autoclear customers regarding troubleshooting and scheduling
• Diagnose electrical or mechanical issues from in-field failures
• Provide comprehensive reports on in-field findings for trend analysis
• Travel periodically (~2x annually) to Autoclear HQ
