Where is the work: This position is remote within a designated geography, with work performed in Lexington, KY.

What you will do:

• Start and commission HVAC systems, diagnose and repair environmental control systems in diverse commercial settings, utilizing electronics, DDC controls, airflow, and refrigeration knowledge.
• Serve as the primary customer contact, ensuring satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment on-site.
• Coordinate with team leaders and customers for installation and repair requirements, forecasting issues, and managing materials.
• Stay current on Trane products for installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of control systems.
• Enforce safety standards and maintain security of company assets.
• Maintain flexibility to work overtime, including occasional overnight stays.

What you will bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 3-5 years HVAC/Controls experience; technical training preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and handheld devices.
• Valid driver’s license with no major violations in the past 3 years.
• Experience with DDC controls preferred; EPA certification preferred.

Additional Requirements and Environmental Exposure:

• Ability to operate a vehicle safely, wear safety gear, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Must be able to work in various environmental conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
• This role is designated as Safety Sensitive.

Compensation: $30-45/hour plus potential commissions. Actual pay may vary based on experience and location.
