Job summary

Smith Family Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist during procedures, prepare rooms, and manage patient records. A current X-ray license is required, with 1–2 years of experience preferred and a focus on empathy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Dental Assisting experience preferred.
• X-ray licensed required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments and ensure equipment is ready for dentists.
• Assist dentists during procedures by handing instruments and anticipating needs.
• Take and process X-rays of patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payments.
