Job summary

Johnson Family Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to work closely with our Dentist in a busy practice. The role supports patient comfort, charting, sterilization, and front-office duties as needed, with a friendly, patient-focused team environment.

Ideal candidates hold CPR/BLS certification and an X-ray license. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must have certs to be hired.
• CPR or BLS.
• X-ray license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort.
• Take and develop X-rays as needed.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts.
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as required.
• Ensure infection control protocols and safety regulations are followed.
• Assist with front office tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing payments, if needed.
• We provide our patients with the 3 G's: Greeting, Guiding and Gratitude.
