Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Radiology Technologist in Brandon, FL for a contracted role in a supportive clinical environment. You will perform radiology and X-ray examinations, prepare and position patients, ensure accurate procedure documentation, and maintain imaging equipment while following safety protocols.

You will collaborate with the clinical team to deliver timely results, protect patient confidentiality, and contribute to continuous workflow improvements in a fast-paced healthcare

Qualifications

• Certified Radiologic Technologist with valid credentials.
• Proficiency in general radiology and X-ray procedures.
• Experience operating digital imaging systems.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Familiarity with patient safety regulations and infection control.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Previous contract or travel healthcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiology and X-ray examinations as ordered by providers.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging studies.
• Ensure accurate technical execution and proper documentation of all procedures.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot radiology equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Adhere strictly to safety precautions, protecting patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
• Collaborate closely with the clinical team to interpret and deliver prompt imaging results.
• Uphold confidentiality and provide compassionate care throughout the patient experience.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of imaging department protocols and workflow.
