Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification required.
• State licensure as Radiologic Technologist where required.
• Experience operating digital X-ray equipment in clinical/hospital settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards, infection control, and radiation protection.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital X-ray and imaging equipment to acquire high-quality images as ordered by providers
• Prepare and position patients appropriately to ensure optimal diagnostic results while ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Adhere to safety protocols, including proper shielding and infection control measures
• Communicate clearly with patients regarding procedures and answer questions to alleviate concerns
• Review images to ensure diagnostic quality, collaborating with radiologists for interpretation
• Maintain and update patient records, documenting imaging procedures and outcomes accurately
• Monitor and maintain equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues for repair or calibration
• Uphold compliance with all regulatory requirements and facility policies
