Job summary

Ziehm Imaging - Orthoscan Inc. in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a motivated X-Ray Engineer to lead all engineering and production aspects of X-ray generation. The role focuses on high-voltage design, glassware, heat management, and scalable manufacturing of next-generation X-ray generators.

The candidate will collaborate with R&D, QARA, and Production to translate concepts into manufacturable hardware, develop testing procedures, and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead X-ray generator assemblies design and manufacturing transfer.
• Develop HV subsystems, insulation, and oil-filled assemblies for mass production.
• Create automated test procedures, assembly work instructions, and validation protocols.
• Coordinate with R&D, QARA, and Production to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Improve processes to achieve quality and efficiency goals.
• Own lifecycle from incoming parts to field-return investigations.
