Job summary

SimonMed Imaging seeks an X-ray Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with precision and compassion. You will assess image quality, document in PACS/RIS/EMR, and maintain ALARA safety practices in a busy outpatient setting.

Ideal candidates have ARRT radiography certification, state licensure where required, and 1–2 years of X-ray experience. The role emphasizes teamwork, patient empathy, and ongoing mentorship of students.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography is required.
• Current state licensure where required.
• BLS certification current or in progress.
• 1–2 years of X-ray experience preferred; outpatient or ambulatory care experience a plus.
• Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
• Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles.
• Strong communication with patients, physicians, and teammates.
• Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and produce diagnostic-grade results.
• Maintain clean, complete, real-time documentation in systems.
• Manage own workflow and adapt to a high-volume schedule.
• Mentor students and uphold professional clinical culture.
