Job summary

Patient First is seeking an experienced radiology supervisor to oversee the X-ray department and ensure high-quality imaging and patient care. The role includes supervising X-ray Technologists, coordinating with physicians, and maintaining safety and QA records.

Responsibilities include DR/PACS image processing, staff training, and ensuring regulatory compliance while providing exceptional customer service. This full-time on-site position supports multiple centers as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• ARRT registered radiologic technologist.
• Licensed, if required in the state of employment.
• Ability to hear pages, bells, and phone system.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 7 hours at a time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Adequate verbal, written, and typed communication skills required.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all X-ray techs to ensure quality work.
• Function as administrator and radiology provider as directed.
• Quality control and PACS/DICOM image processing.
• Ensure X-ray techs are qualified under state specs.
• Communicate with physicians and maintain timely service.
• Maintain safety, records, and equipment in the X-ray department.
• Train staff and conduct interviews as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and support center operations.
