Job summary

Belltown Modern Dentistry in Seattle is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dentists, educate patients, and help deliver high-quality care. You will work to gain patient commitment and assist with procedures, under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, state-certified licensure as applicable, and relevant training; an associate degree or certificate is preferred. We offer benefits and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and state-required certification/licensure.
• State-mandated certifications/licensure for radiograph exposure or other tasks.
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for best possible treatment with urgency.
• Actively participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by keeping patients focused on optimal treatment and addressing concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment; prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors for efficient care.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories per ADA guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).

Education
