Job summary

BayCare is seeking a Basic Machine Operator to support X-ray/imaging services and patient care at our New Port Richey location. This full-time role involves assisting providers, managing patient records, and coordinating with front/back-office staff.

Responsibilities include handling patient histories, lab prep, EMR documentation, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Travel between sites may be required, with extended hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Florida Basic Machine Operator (BMO) certification required.
• Ability to work extended hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, treatment, and x-ray/imaging services.
• Maintain patient histories and routine lab specimen preparation for transport to the lab.
• Follow up on test orders and report results to provider and patient; provide patient education materials.
