Job summary

BayCare's Clearwater Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated X-ray Tech / BMO to join our physician practice team. You will assist providers with examinations, imaging services, and patient care in a high-volume urgent care setting, working 12-hour shifts with some weekend work.

This role requires BLS certification and Florida BMO, a high school diploma, and preferred Medical Assistant training. BayCare offers a strong benefits package and opportunities for growth within a leading regional health

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Florida BMO certification required.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred Medical Assistant training.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with patient examination, procedures, treatment, and x-ray/imaging services.
• Maintains patient histories and prepares specimens for transport to the lab.
• Follows up on test orders and reports results; provides patient education materials.
• Creates and maintains patient EMR.
• Supports front and back-office duties.
• Position may require travel to other sites depending on patient volume.
• Ability to work extended hours including evenings and weekends.
