Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation in New York, NY is seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee benefits, compensation, recruitment, employee relations, counseling, safety and training/development. This role reports to the Director of Human Resources and may run the HR office in the Director's absence.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in HR or management, bilingual in English and Spanish, and experience with Taleo, ADP, and Kronos.

The ideal candidate for the human resource manager position will have experience in all areas of the Human Resource function. The position responsibilities include benefit administration, compensation, recruitment and retention, employee/labor relations, counseling, safety and training/development. This position will report to the Director of Human Resources. This person must have the ability to run a human resource office in the Director's absence.

The salary for this position is $80,000.This is the pay rate is prorated based on the length of the task force assignment.

Qualifications

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment

• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to stay organized and multitask
• 2 or more years of human resource or managementexperience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience using different HR systems including Taleo, ADP and Kronos highly preferred
• General understanding of LOA's, Workers Compensation, State and Federal laws, recruiting and on-boarding, new hire orientation, payroll and any other HR functions as needed
• Degree in hospitality or HR preferred
