Job summary

Yulista Solutions LLC is seeking a General Aircraft Mechanic to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on NASA aircraft, simulators, and UAS. This short-term role supports the X-59 Project, with 10-hour shifts (Friday–Monday, 6am–4:30pm) and potential overtime.

Responsibilities include using NAMIS for records, performing inspections, and maintaining aircraft components and GSE. FAA Airframe/Powerplant certification or active pursuit within 1 year is required, plus ability to obtain a

Qualifications

• Requires FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Minimum two years of aircraft maintenance experience with fixed wing aircraft.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active secret clearance.
• Must be physically capable of working in confined spaces and lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance and inspections.
• Use NAMIS to document maintenance actions and maintain equipment records.
• Inspect aircraft and ground support equipment (GSE) for safety and compliance.
• Remove, repair, and reinstall aircraft components, and manage corrosion treatment.
• Tow, marshal, and jack aircraft as needed; follow QA and regulatory requirements.
• Report accidents, injuries or unsafe practices to supervisor.
